| The latest edition of the Indian Pharmacopoeia was published in 1996. It was updated by additions and amendments introduced through addendum 2000. Under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940, the Indian Pharmacopoeia is the legally recognised book of standards for the quality of drug substances and their preparations included therein. In view of the rapid developments is pharmaceutical sciences and technology, it became necessary to make further changes in the existing compendium. Addendum 2002 amends as well as adds new drugs and preparations to the Indian pharmacopoeia 1996 with a view to keeping the pharmacopoeia updated to the extent possible. Besides amending the existing monographs and appendices, it contains 19 new monographs including monographs of 12 antiretroviral drugs and 7 formulations of these substances. A new appendix on residual solvents has been incorporated. Some monographs have undergone major amendments. The appendix on high performance liquid chromatography has been replaced with a new version which also includes the ion chromatography. The Addendum 2002 is a companion volume to the Indian pharmacopoeia which is indispensable for all concerned with the quality of drugs. Downlaod |

my dear friends, write all the unzipped files to a cd and then insert the cd . go to start menu nd run ip 96. enjoy.. make sure u plug the cd when using ip because its plug & play cd.
hi I could install IP as it mentioned in installation manual. when I tried to run it's asking insert cd rom. I wrote a cd CD IP unzip file n inserted. but Its not opening. plz give a solution to the same

can u tel me how 2 make IP 1996 c.drom disk from the winrar files which i have downloaded.
after installation it is asking pls. insert c.d rom disk into the cd.drive and try again.
i make a c.d copy of extracted winrar files, but it is not working.
in which format we have to write the c.d.

You will find CD IP folder after extracting the Winrar files. write sub folders of CD IP instead of CD IP.

Guys, this is how u can install and make it run..
Extract all 3 .rar files,
open CD IP folder Run the setup file. after installation, run the desktop shortcut. it will say insert cd rom.
So u need to make cd people say, but u can do it without cd also.
just open nero>create data cd> add files (don't add CD IP folder, instead open it and add all rest files and sub folders)>next> u'll see the current recorder field. Put the image recorder mode and just burn it(Note: u dnt need to insert cd coz ur cr8ing an Image file i.e .nrg format) now locate it and mount it on a virtual DVD-Vcd rom software. I use Deamon tools.. (Google it u can get the link to download)install and mount the image file, after mounting, double click on the desktop shortcut, VIOLA.. That's Done!!
